چکیده
The characteristics of the partial nuclear muon capture with massive left-handed Dirac neutrino and relativistic component of the muon wave function have been derived. The multipole amplitudes are given as a function of neutrino mass parameter and reduced nuclear matrix elements which are modified by the small component of the muon wave function. As an example, the capture rate, asymmetry and polarization of recoil nuclei are investigated in terms of these multipole amplitudes. The general relativistic effects on spin-flavor oscillations above the core of type II supernovae are investigated. The evolution equation is derived and the relative magnitudes of the terms in the Hamiltonian, which arise from the weak, electromagnetic and gravitational interaction, are compared. The effects on the resonance position and the adiabaticity are studied. Explicit calculations are ...

I review explanations for the three neutrino anomalies (solar, atmospheric and LSND) which go beyond the “conventional” neutrino oscillations induced by mass-mixing. Several of these require non-zero neutrino masses as well.

If neutrinos are to play a relevant cosmological rôle, they must be essentially degenerate with a mass matrix of the bimaximal mixing type. We study this scenario in the MSSM framework, finding that if neutrino masses are produced by a seesaw mechanism, the radiative corrections give rise to mass splittings and mixing angles that can accommodate the atmospheric and the (large angle MSW) solar n...

The description of neutrino propagation through a fluctuating medium is summarized. Fluctuation-Dissipation-Theorem arguments relate microscopic fluctuations to thermodynamic quantities, allowing these to be very generally studied in astro-physical environments. Fluctuation-induced modifications to neutrino oscillations have been studied in detail within the Sun and within the envelope of super...
